How to choose
Pick the flower remedy that most relates to your feelings and emotional state overall, at the moment. If some of the symptoms listed do not pertain to you, the formula will still be effective in treating the symptoms you do have. An inappropriate remedy will not hurt or cause adverse reaction.
Regular vs. Alcohol-free
Both versions are equally effective. It’s just a matter of preference. The regular tastes like alcohol because it’s preserved with brandy (handmade, biodynamic, artisan distilled from grapes). The alcohol-free is sweet tasting because vegetable glycerine is naturally sweet, but there is no sugar or sweetener added and it has a low glycemic index.
Mixing formulas
Please avoid taking more than one formula at a time, as it lessens the effectiveness. (First Aid Kit is the exception and can be taken at any time.)

Pathos was my first introduction to flower remedies. After having my first baby and being 1-2 months postpartum, I was really struggling with postpartum hormonal fluctuations. On top of it, I had a mother in law that centered herself and inserted herself everywhere she could, AND I'm an empath. Without going into too much detail here, we've always had a rocky relationship because she's narcissistic. After giving birth and recovering in the hospital bed, she pushed past me, didn't acknowledge me, to sit on the other side of the room with the baby. And days after, texted me to blame me for not inviting her to the hospital room where I had the baby(that she had to wait in triage) and that I was making up hospital rules that only 2 people were allowed in the birthing room. She also said I intentionally excluded her when I was pregnant(I had a tough pregnancy and didn't feel hungry or well most of the time), and then proceeded to shame me and the way I've "been" when I've just tried to be understanding, kind, and polite, despite the emotional abuse. After having my baby, 5 weeks after she was born, she came over to our house and held the baby. My baby screamed and cried in her arms, and didn't give her back to me after I had asked her to 3x. Instead, my MIL said, "Something's wrong with this baby; all babies love me". I was taking soul purpose and on day 5 and felt so called to shift to Pathos that was pinging me for some time and went against it because I wanted to follow a certain protocol. When I finally listened and took Pathos an immediate shift took place, I felt more grounded in my body and felt like I was in my own aura again. Only on day 2. Pathos shows you everything in your energy field!!! I realized that just now thinking back on my day. All of my thoughts had meaning and showed me the next steps to take. It’s really cool when you have a chance to process what’s happening when taking the flower essences.
I’m currently looking for a new job right now and it doesn’t feel right to send off a million resumes. And I’m glad that I didn’t get into that energy or I would’ve missed the signs.
