How to choose
Pick the flower remedy that most relates to your feelings and emotional state overall, at the moment. If some of the symptoms listed do not pertain to you, the formula will still be effective in treating the symptoms you do have. An inappropriate remedy will not hurt or cause adverse reaction.
Regular vs. Alcohol-free
Both versions are equally effective. It’s just a matter of preference. The regular tastes like alcohol because it’s preserved with brandy (handmade, biodynamic, artisan distilled from grapes). The alcohol-free is sweet tasting because vegetable glycerine is naturally sweet, but there is no sugar or sweetener added and it has a low glycemic index.
Mixing formulas
Please avoid taking more than one formula at a time, as it lessens the effectiveness. (First Aid Kit is the exception and can be taken at any time.)

I cannot speak highly enough of Alexis Smart's flower remedies. I've taken so many over the last year and have had remarkable experiences and shifts with all; beauty formula 9 is no different! I chose this bottle because I have a history of dermatitis, redness (probably due to acne scarring) and very sensitive skin (mostly just my face) in general, and it has been extra sensitive and reactive to everything lately. The first half of this bottle it did feel like these symptoms were slightly exacerbated (which I believe is not unusual to occur with these remedies), but I've finally turned a corner! My skin seems to be calming down a bit and even my thoughts + insecurities around my idea of beauty have been shifting. I still have room for progress so I'm excited to see where this bottle continues to take me as I finish it!

I purchased Beauty #9 when Alexis sent a newsletter out about the seasonal heat, and I was feeling over-heated in NYC with an inflammation flare up on my knee meniscus during summer “party season”. I do not have sensitive skin on my face tho was just feeling irritable on the inside! This formula is like deipping in cool, refreshing water on a steamy hot day. I feel calm and that sense of “cool as a cucumber”, even around others who acting hot and reactionary. My knee inflammation is better and I feel it also contributed to that. thank you!

Last summer and even through fall and winter I was struggling with pink, dry patches on my skin that didn’t seem caused by sun or by dry air. After trying mists, serums, potions, prayer, I tried this one because the pink cheeks and easy blushing got me- and boy did it help! I wish I had taken before and after but this flower remedy knocked it out of the park!!
