I started taking this, not even that seriously - took it for about 2 weeks and the choir I was finding kind of stressful interpersonally but also hard to leave because of what a beautiful project it was announced that it was going to close in a year and focus on new projects. Started taking it again this year during a stressful work period and the charity I've been on the board of (that has definitely taken a lot out of me) missed a massive funding bid that resulted in the board unanimously agreeing on wind down. I also broke up with a really draining friend relatively drama-free during this time. And that's not even a full month worth of dosage! I am certainly less burdened! This is wildly powerful stuff.

I’ve taken unburden a couple times over the years, especially around transitions like moving. Gretchen recommended Unburden again for me now, and it is very grounding and supportive; it was definitely the right call. It’s not only helping take the pressure off me as I start a new job and move myself to a new place, but it also I believe is helping clear a bad breakout I got for like the last 1.5 months (and I hadn’t had a breakout in years, let alone this bad), which could have come up with a lot of stress and detox leaving a relationship and processing grief. All in all, I’m pretty amazed by Unburden even more this time, because as the weeks go by my complexion is clearer and I feel like I “can do it” with these changes. I’ve had a lot more energy and ease in my days rather than feeling overwhelmed, and I’ve had plenty of time to accomplish everything, allowing me to really feel the ease and spaciousness instead of stress. I felt called to take Unburden earlier this year when I was drowning in mothering/work/home and life felt very overwhelming. Within a week of taking it I made huge decisions that not only changed the course of my summer (I ended up taking almost the entire summer off work) but have also changed the course of my career in this new era of being a full time mummy of two.
